An introduction
Deepwater Corrosion Services' Polatrak brand probes are recognized as the industry standard for accuracy and dependability in the offshore market. Our Deep-C-Meter system (which includes the ROV II probe) is very popular in the ROV industry for is reliability in deep water survey situations (up to 3000 m). The CP Gun is now considered the premier bathycorrometer-style instrument for divers, with interchangeable Ag/AgCl or Cu/CuSO4 electrode elements, making it perfect for sea water, rivers, tanks, and other low-visibility areas. In addition, we offer standard drop cells (DC II), and many types of general proximity electrodes for divers and inspection class ROV's.
Unlike other cathodic protection testing equipment, all Polatrak probes are designed with dual elements, for real-time calibration and accuracy. These electrodes are interchangable and easily replaced during routine maintenance. All diver probes and the light-duty version of the Deep C Meter are rated to 300 m. Probes designed for work-class ROV's are rated to 3000 m.
