The Deepwater MPE Foundry in Kuantan produces its own brand of zinc and aluminum anodes.

With an annual aluminium and zinc sacrificial anode production capacity in excess of 6,000 MT (metric tons), MPE’s purpose-built production facility in Kuantan, Malaysia is one of the region’s largest and most respected anode foundries, situated on a 6,500 m2 site, with a built-up area of 2,400 m2. MPE’s state-of-the-art furnaces, in combination with our unique production process, are capable of casting up to 20 MT of anodes per day. Through its association with Wasco Coatings, MPE has access to many hectares of storage area for finished goods, as well as a dedicated dock facility at Kuantan Port, with a 30 MT overhead crane.

Additional production facilities in Port Harcourt, Nigeria and Batam, Indonesia provide an additional 3,000MT of annual production capacity.

2. On-Site Production

MPE is also able to mobilize our proprietary, fully containerized MOFU™ (Mobile Foundry Unit) anywhere in the world when on-site anode production is warranted. Daily production for a MOFU is 6 MT.

3. Multiple Alloys Available

In addition to its own proprietary MPE® anodes, MPE also manufactures Deep 7™ anodes. Deep 7 is an alloy designed specifically for the cold waters found in deep water applications.

MPE’s Quality Management System is accredited to ISO 9001 by Lloyd’s Register.
