Since opening the doors on its new facility in Canterbury in October of 2007, Deepwater EU Ltd. has been expanding rapidly. We have taken on former Hockway BD Manager Clive Harrington to spearhead the North Sea region, and we will be doubling our facility's size in October of this year. Our presence at Offshore Europe 2009 (along with Hockway Ltd.) to showcase our retrofitting operations in the North Sea was a welcomed opportunity for many asset integrity managers and engineers to stop by and learn about our unique cathodic protection retrofit solutions.
Thank you to everyone who showed such interest in our innovative approach to corrosion control offshore, especially those to whom our systems will prove a useful and cost-effective tool for protecting the aging offshore infrastructure assets under their control. Our ongoing retrofit of the 4 original structures in the Apache Forties field (using the impressed current RetroBuoy system) was the main focus of our exhibition, and we are confidant that by OE 2011, we will have several other major North Sea retrofit projects to showcase.

There was a large amount of interest in the Apache retrofit project.
Corrosion Engineer Ben Marshall attended the show to support with technical information about the offshore alliance.
The stand 1198 was in a very desirable spot (next to the cafe), so look for us in exactly the same place in 2011.
And a celebratory pint at Carriages to mark a successful show.
