Lead Technician

General Job Duties:
Secondary to Operations Manager. Responsible for the training of field and data entry personnel and procedure manuals. Kick off (Go on and start) all major jobs to ensure efficiency and communications. Person should be capable of filling in for Ops Manager.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Coordinates with Ops Coord.
2. Responsible for compiling and maintaining training program for offshore personnel.
3. Perform offshore safety, offshore safety audits and boat safety audits.
4. Personnel under Lead Technician would primarily be for inspection, Retrolink installation and reporting.
5. Projects use would be secondary.
6. Out-of-office travel 4-6 weeks.

Prerequisite Education & Experience:
1. 3-5 years field experience in the offshore industry.
2. TWIC, Safe Gulf, Water survival, Microsoft Office, Windows, Some AutoCad strongly preferred.
3. Experience with Logistics.
4. Experience with Project Management.
5. Visual inspection and reporting on Onshore/Offshore structures.
6. Cathodic Protection / Corrosion background a plus.

Physical demands:
1. Offshore and industrial facility visits require a moderate level of physical activity. Significant periods on airplanes or sitting at a desk.
2. Work environment: Office for majority of time, but will include attendance at pipeline terminals, offshore platforms, boats, rigs, helicopters, foundries, refineries, fabrication yards, docks, etc.

Operations Coordinator

General Job Duties:
Responsible for day to day operations for all personnel traveling to and from jobs and working onshore/offshore. Also responsible for equipment, computers, boat rentals, logistics, purchasing and any other operational transactions that support Deepwater’s onshore/offshore work operations. Responsible for all web site updates (data and programming changes).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Coordinates with Lead Project Manager for efficient use of personnel.

Senior Cathodic Protection Engineer

General Job Duties:
Deepwater Corrosion Services and Deepwater EU Ltd. (its subsidiary) are seeking experienced engineers and project managers with offshore cathodic protection experience. There are positions available at our offices in Houston, TX.

Prerequisite Education & Experience:
NACE CP3 or CP4 (NACE certification encouraged, though not required) or 5-10 years experience in design, inspection and commissioning of CP systems is ideal.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Duties include: Design and implementation of cathodic protection projects, offshore inshore, collaboration on projects with teams of project managers and engineers, etc. Applicant will be required to travel internationally and in the field (up to 8 to 10 weeks per annum maximum). Prerequisite Education & Experience:
P.E. TX required. Also, NACE CP4 (NACE certification encouraged, though not mandatory) or 10 years experience required.

Applicant will work with Deepwater's most senior corrosion and cathodic protection engineers and lead the engineering department. Deepwater currently provides engineering and consulting services for major operators and engineering firms in the area of corrosion and materials. Applicant will occasionally be required to travel internationally.
