Deepwater’s 2024 Crawfish boil
Some people must have been praying for rain and others were praying for crawfish; this past Friday, May 3, 2024, it seems most everyone got what they wanted. The morning of the boil we watched frog-strangling thunderstorms soak our headquarters (and crawfish tent) until the rain magically stopped a half-hour before we threw the gates open. Although gloomy clouds still swirled above our big party, the mood inside our dining tent was decidedly sunny.
As promised, there were mountains of mudbugs, boatloads of burgers, dozens of dogs and barrels of brew for all in attendance. And just like any good party, we got to spend quality time with old friends, new friends, customers, partners and acquaintances. We’d like to thank everybody who braved the soggy drive to our miraculously rain-free 21st annual crawfish boil; we enjoyed seeing you all!
